hey, I am mandy!

Mandy is a Director/DOP based in London. She also is a trainer for budding video creatives around the world.

She started in her 20s as an editor and in the last 15 years, has DP’ed several music videos, narrative and branded content. In the last few years, she made the natural jump into directing. Her skillset has made given her a deep understanding of the production process from beginning to end, as a effective communicator on-set.

Having worked with several tv networks, magazines and agencies, Mandy discovered how high the barrier to entry is within video production. She decided to build a production company from the ground up, Breadbox Studios, to bring up newer creatives from many different backgrounds - and get them paid!

Mandy has expanded into hosting workshops for upcoming video creatives (🙌) collaborating with brands, like Adobe, Epidemic Sound, The Photography Show to name a few. Her workshops are global, with a few of them having happened in Spain, Rotterdam, Vidcon UK, New York, YouTube UK, Madeira, Birmingham & Belfast.

Mandy’s passion outside of her production company is her pilot - Grow up! and film concept “Ir-ish?”. ‘Grow Up!’ was a finalist in the 2022 Screencraft TV Pilot Script Competition and “Ir-ish?” was shortlisted for the Screencraft Film Fund 2022.

Mandy directed a music video for Epidemic Sound’s talent ‘Snake City’ was recently nominated for ‘Best Editing’ at the 2023 BMVA’s (against Harry Styles… she was never going to win) and it screened in the HollyShorts 2022 at the Chinese Theatres in LA.

It was also shortlisted for July 2022 Shiny Awards.
